Some of questions answered here.
- Our wooden combs are a paragon of artisanal craftsmanship. They are meticulously hand - made by experienced artisans, whose skills have been honed over years. Each comb is a labor of love, embodying the long - standing woodworking tradition.
- These craftsmen start by carefully choosing the finest wood, each piece selected for its unique traits. The making process is precise. Using traditional hand - tools, the artisans skillfully shape the wood, crafting each tooth individually for a perfect fit.
- The polishing gives the combs a mirror - like finish, making them smooth and shiny. Unlike mass - produced ones, our handmade combs have unique styles. Whether for daily use or as a gift, they'll meet and exceed your expectations.
- Avoid humid environments !
A humid environment can easily cause it to absorb excessive moisture, leading to deformation and mildew. After daily use, be sure to wipe the comb clean with a dry cloth. - Prevent direct sunlight exposure!
Long - term direct sunlight can damage the wooden structure of the redwood comb, making its color fade and lose its original luster. Therefore, do not place the redwood comb in areas such as window sills or balconies where it can be directly exposed to sunlight.
- Keep away from chemicals!
Hair - care products such as shampoos, conditioners, and hairsprays, as well as various chemical cleaning agents, all contain chemical components. Once they come into contact with wooden combs, they may corrode the combs, affecting their quality and appearance. - Regular maintenance!
At regular intervals (it is recommended to do this every 1 - 2 months), you can use olive oil to wipe and maintain the comb. When wiping, drip an appropriate amount of olive oil onto a clean and soft cloth, and then evenly apply it to the surface of the comb, including the teeth and the handle, ensuring that every part is moisturized. Olive oil can form a protective film on the surface of the comb. This not only enhances its water resistance and wear resistance but also keeps the redwood comb shiny and extends its service life.
